About the role
We are partnering with a premier technology integrator that provides full life-cycle services and solutions in the technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets for the U.S. federal government. This organization is a leader in redefining ingenuity through deep customer and domain knowledge, enabling the delivery of systems engineering and integration offerings for large, complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and user permissions management.
- Monitor network performance, diagnose connectivity issues, and recommend improvements to infrastructure reliability.
- Manage system patching and update cycles to maintain compliance, reduce vulnerabilities, and minimize operational downtime.
- Administer and maintain backup and recovery technologies; conduct periodic validation of restore procedures.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate, implement, and enhance system functionality and security posture.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and evolving DoD compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a System Administrator in a DoD or similarly regulated, security-conscious environment.
- Solid hands-on experience with VMware and/or other enterprise virtualization technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Working knowledge of networking protocols, system security best practices, and IT infrastructure management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 3 years of relevant experience; OR High school diploma/GED with 6+ years of equivalent hands-on experience.
- CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570/8140 compliant) and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Pay
Competitive salary range of $80,001 - $120,000 per year.
