Responsibilities

  • Assist Surveyors across the business with data collection and data processing activities on a variety of projects.
  • Support the delivery of projects in line with company quality standards, technical specifications, and health and safety requirements.
  • Develop knowledge of survey theory, industry best practice, new technologies, and surveying instrumentation.
  • Build technical capability across multiple surveying disciplines within the Digital Construction team.
  • Support surveying and technical project activities following client instruction.
  • Aid in managing project data from collection through to final delivery using appropriate technologies and methodologies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales and commercial expectations.
  • Report project progress to Project Managers and support effective project delivery.
  • Liaise with clients on site regarding project specifications and deliverables when required.
  • Work closely with Lead Surveyors to gain practical experience and technical knowledge across all aspects of surveying.
  • Work flexibly, including occasional night work and working away from home where required.
  • Undertake additional reasonable duties as requested.

You will have

  • Previous surveying experience or a relevant qualification in Surveying, Geospatial, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A self motivated approach with strong problem solving ability.
  • Confidence using IT applications and technology.
  • A willingness to travel frequently, work flexible hours, and occasionally stay away from home.
  • A valid state issued driving licence.
  • A genuine passion for building a career within the surveying and geospatial industry.
  • We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about developing a career in surveying and eager to learn from experienced professionals.
  • Familiarity with Leica survey equipment.
  • Experience using laser scanning technology.
  • Experience with data processing and AutoCAD.
