About the role
Responsible for preparing and serving meals in a professional kitchen setting. Collaborate with chefs to develop new recipes and maintain existing menus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and under supervision.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations.
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen setting.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Experience with food preparation and service.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
