Junior Software Engineer - onsite

About the role

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that power data streaming platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software components for data streaming platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Implement new features and optimize existing systems to improve performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in software development.
• Experience with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, Flink, or Spark.
• Strong understanding of programming languages like Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of security best practices and experience with security tools.
