Junior Software Engineer

About the role

This role is for a Junior Software Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in software development using Java or C#. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in XML, SQL, JavaScript/CSS/JQuery/HTML, or SON, and familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using Java or C#
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other engineers
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall codebase quality
• Adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and best practices in the Android ecosystem

Requirements

• Must have Java or C# experience
• Understanding of OOP concepts
• Hands-on experience with XML, SQL, JavaScript/CSS/JQuery/HTML, or SON
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Basic understanding of computer science concepts

Qualifications

• Willingness to relocate anywhere in the US on a client project-to-project basis
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
