Junior Software Engineer
U.S. Citizenship is required. Active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance required. Position is located in Hanover, MD and is on-site with first shift hours.

Engineers work on a variety of areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and UI design.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based on documented requirements.
- Work individually or as part of a team.
- Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
- Resolve software problem reports.
- Utilize software development and design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
- Provide input to software components of system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four years of software engineering experience may be substituted for the degree.
