Junior Software Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Software Developer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of modern front-end applications utilizing technologies such as JavaScript, AngularJS, Vue.js, and Node.js.
• Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-focused solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and production support.
• Help identify opportunities to improve system functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be challenged to solve complex technical problems, implement system enhancements, and support modernization initiatives that directly impact mission success.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects while balancing independent work with collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• An active security clearance with polygraph.
• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and three (3) years of experience in software development/engineering.
• Seven (7) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Experience working with front-end technologies including JavaScript.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Experience developing and updating technical documentation.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience working with the AWS Platform.
• Experience working in an Agile Development Team.
• Experience working with Git for source code management.
• Experience with Node.js, AngularJS, Angular, VueJS or comparable JavaScript frameworks/libraries.
• Experience with GOTS products.
• Experience with EngineX.

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is between $130,000-$150,000 (annualized USD).

Schedule

This is a full-time position.
