BMI® is a global leader in music rights management, serving as an advocate for the value of music. BMI represents the public performance rights of more than 24 million works of nearly 1.4 million copyright owners and delivers superior music access, services, and experiences to our affiliates and the businesses we serve. We continue to innovate and evolve to meet the needs of our affiliates in perpetuity. In February 2024, BMI completed its acquisition by a shareholder group led by New Mountain Capital, a leading growth-oriented investment firm with over $45 billion in assets under management. The partnership marked BMI's transition from a not-for-profit entity to a for-profit company and ushered in a new phase of investment in technology and expanded services for BMI's songwriters, composers, and publishers. Building on that momentum, BMI is acquiring Soundmouse, a global leader in music cue sheet reporting and monitoring for the broadcast and entertainment production industries, from Orfium. Soundmouse uses AI-driven technology to automate the creation of cue sheets that report the musical elements used in films, TV shows, commercials, video games, and other productions. Together, BMI and Soundmouse are building what is expected to be the largest and most comprehensive cue sheet database in the global audiovisual marketplace — driving greater revenue and visibility for songwriters, composers, and publishers worldwide. These milestones reflect BMI's continued investment in technology and its commitment to delivering best-in-class service, security, and innovation for the music industry. Join us as we build the next chapter of BMI's growth. ABOUT THE ROLE Provides operational and technical support for the organization's cybersecurity program.
