Junior Sales Representative - Greenville, NC

About the Role

D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., is seeking a Junior Sales Representative to manage the entire sales process, from initial customer interaction through the close of escrow. This role involves greeting and qualifying visitors, demonstrating models/homes/home sites, overcoming sales objections, and ensuring a professional and ethical approach to serve potential buyers and increase company goodwill and profit.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify visitors
• Demonstrate models/homes/home sites
• Overcome sales objections and close sales
• Document transactions
• Track progress of loans, options, and construction
• Respond to customer requests for information
• Document any cancellations
• Maintain all lot files and sales files
• Monitor models and sales office for appropriate disclosures, supplies, and repairs
• Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner
• Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members
• Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards

Qualifications

Required:

• Associate’s Degree or 2 years related experience
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and ability to drive in daytime or nighttime
• Ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop
• Proficiency with MS Office and email
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Preferred:

• Prior CRM software experience
• Previous sales experience, knowledge of industry preferred
• Excel in intercommunications and interactions
• Strongly motivated
