Key Responsibilities
- Support pipeline generation through outbound prospecting and inbound follow-ups
- Learn and apply a structured sales process (qualification, discovery, closing)
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand client needs and route opportunities effectively
- Absorb and apply product positioning and join demos led by senior team members
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers and vendor partners during sales cycles
- Maintain CRM hygiene and track activities consistently
- Participate in training programs on cybersecurity solutions and sales methodologies
- Gradually take ownership of smaller SMB deals over time
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
- Strong interest in technology and cybersecurity
- Exposure or basic familiarity with cybersecurity concepts or vendors such as CrowdStrike is a plus (not required)
- Strong communication skills and willingness to engage with clients
- A high level of coachability, curiosity, and learning agility
- Organized and disciplined in managing tasks and follow-ups
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or initial experience in B2B sales (SDR/BDR experience is a plus)
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Basic understanding of SMB business environments
- Interest in developing a career in cybersecurity sales
