Junior Retoucher

About the role

We are seeking an Junior Retoucher to support high-volume image production and asset management across ecommerce, print, digital, and social channels. This role focuses on product image retouching, color correction, file preparation, and imagery asset administration while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to production standards.

Responsibilities

• Retouch, manipulate, and color-correct product imagery for digital and print use.
• Review photography against physical samples and approved references to ensure color accuracy and consistency.
• Create and refine clipping paths, shadows, composites, and other image treatments.
• Prepare channel-ready image files with correct sizing, resolution, color profiles, and formats.
• Manage imagery assets, including downloading, naming, organizing, uploading, updating, archiving, and expiring files.
• Maintain image libraries, asset records, workflow trackers, dashboards, and status reporting.
• Coordinate routine imagery needs with photographers, retouchers, and external vendors.
• Support quarterly imagery audits and ongoing library maintenance.
• Ensure files meet quality standards and identify discrepancies, version issues, or missing assets.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in image retouching, color correction, ecommerce image production, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including:
  • Color correction
  • Masking and clipping paths
  • Compositing
  • Shadow creation
  • Image cleanup
  • Non-destructive editing
• Strong understanding of CMYK, PMS, RGB, color management, and print vs. web production requirements.
• Experience preparing images for multiple channels and file formats.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality control.
• Ability to manage high-volume production work while meeting deadlines.
