Junior QA Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Manual Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have up to one year of experience in automation testing or a strong desire to learn automation techniques. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of our products
• Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand product requirements and specifications
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts
• Continuously learn and apply automation testing tools and techniques
• Provide clear and concise test results and status reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Up to 1 year of experience in automation testing (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing methodologies
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, etc.)
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC)
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar
