Responsibilities

• Assist in developing software design and architecture by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes
• Identify and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Review and debug code to ensure the software is of high quality
• Document development phases and monitor systems
• Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Python programming
• Familiarity with Django web framework is a plus
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn about Postgres
• Ability to read and debug code, with an interest in improving and optimizing software
• Basic proficiency in using code versioning tools, such as Git
• Understanding of RESTful API and RPC services is a plus
• Eager to learn software development methodologies
• Good communication skills in English, a team-oriented mindset, and a strong work ethic
• Basic Linux skills and willingness to learn more
