Responsibilities

  • Administrative management of orders in SAP in regard to the creation and changes of purchase orders as well as the approval process.
  • Monitoring of timely deliveries, management of deviations.
  • Assistance in project procurement and support in processing orders for projects.
  • Maintain supplier relations with multiple vendors for like products & services.
  • Negotiating prices with suppliers.
  • Conducting supplier evaluations based on performance.
  • Compiling statistics about stock.
  • Providing information and help in case of questions regarding orders, delivery dates and order management in general.
  • Close cooperation with the offer manager and project managers regarding the provision of production material, goods and services for projects, internal clients and production.
  • Supporting the offer manager regarding invitations for tenders for projects in the offer phase.
  • Timely delivery to the projects or production in order to guarantee an interruption-free process.
  • Guarantee of the best possible cost-cutting measures whilst taking account of quality requirements and risk minimization.
  • Optimizing the procurement costs (TCO).

Requirements

  • College graduate with Business Administration or similar degree or High school diploma with 2-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiar with business operation concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Applied experience with Microsoft Office applications including MS Word and MS Excel. MS Access and SAP is a plus.
  • General knowledge of current standards and guidelines (e.g. protection guidelines, environment, RoHS, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and communicate progress/problems to appropriate personnel effectively.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
