About the Role
Assist in managing US structured finance funds, including hedge funds and long-only mandates. Provide portfolio management support on some funds while taking a leadership role on more straightforward ones, and contribute to the development of new funds for the platform.
Responsibilities
- Oversee long-only portfolios or sleeves in collaboration with analysts and stakeholders (operations, risk, compliance, etc.).
- Implement investment objectives defined with clients, deploying capital based on analysts' recommendations, market timing, and risk/return considerations.
- Assist in managing and monitoring portfolios of US structured finance instruments.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly reports on risk and performance for the funds.
- Create marketing materials reflecting up-to-date performance and relevant economic data.
- Conduct market research, attend conferences, perform manager due diligence, and analyze specific assets and asset classes held by the fund.
- Manage daily fund operations, including trade booking, overseeing the middle office, and reviewing monthly valuation reports.
- Drive operational improvements and structuring projects, such as negotiating financing and derivatives contracts, maintaining fund positions in systems, and supervising fund expenses.
- Participate in developing new products for the US platform, including designing pitches, modeling portfolios, engaging with clients, and evolving into a portfolio manager role for newly launched products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Structured Finance or Fixed Income, with High Yield knowledge.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $90,000 to $145,000. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, and location, with a focus on market alignment and internal equity.
