Junior Platform IaC Engineer with Security Clearance

About the role

Aid in the creation and upkeep of Infrastructure as Code solutions within a hybrid-cloud setting. This role offers a chance to enhance your expertise in automation, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of IaC templates and scripts
• Assist with infrastructure deployments and system configurations
• Work with Ansible playbooks and Terraform modules
• Help maintain Linux systems (RHEL preferred)
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts
• Troubleshoot basic infrastructure and platform issues
• Document processes, configurations, and procedures
• Collaborate with senior engineers and adopt best practices

Requirements

• BS/BA in STEM field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in IT, systems, or DevOps-related roles
• Basic knowledge of: Linux systems (RHEL preferred), scripting (Bash, Python, etc.), cloud and infrastructure concepts
• Willingness to learn IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Agile exposure or familiarity
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (required day 1)
• U.S. Citizenship required

Qualifications

• Preferred: Exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools, understanding of networking and system administration basics, Security+ certification (or willingness to obtain)
