About the role
Vishay Spectrol is currently seeking applicants for an Junior Operator QC Incoming Inspection. The VISHAY Junior Operator adds value by performing inspection of raw materials, components, in-process and final inspections and/or audits of the quality audit program.
Job Location
The ideal candidate will be working on-site in the Sunshine state of California, USA in the city of Ontario. Ontario is named “The Next Urban Center” and is just one hour away from the Greater Los Angeles Area of great beaches, entertainment and a melting pot of diverse people and culture.
What You Will Be Doing
- Performs Receiving Inspection of material, components and assemblies per corresponding Drawings and Engineering Specifications with corresponding data and documents
- When performing daily task, able to utilize and maintain historical inspection records and files
- Apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated
- Audit draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations
- Performs First Article Inspection of components and assemblies to determine compliance to Drawings and Engineering Specifications with corresponding data and documents
- Minimize down time by reducing production rework and recalls
- Assist production personnel in the understanding of inspection and testing methods
- Auditing materials and processes
- And other tasks as assigned by Quality Manager
What You Will Bring Along
- A high school diploma with some College preferred
- 1 to 3 years of routine inspection experience utilizing miscellaneous gauges and optical measurement equipment (Caliper, micrometer, height gage, Go/ No-go gages etc.)
Rate of Pay
$23-$26 / hour

Qualifications
- Access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15
Skills
