Position Overview
We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Loan Specialist to join our growing Operations team. This is a foundational role responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely flow of loan documentation through our pipeline. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, and thrives in a fast-paced lending environment. This role offers a strong learning path and clear opportunities for advancement as Dynamo Capital continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and verify all required borrower documentation in accordance with Dynamo Capital's document guidelines
- Accurately upload and organize files within the company's backend loan system
- Perform timely and accurate data entry within Mortgage
- Complete the Underwriting Guidelines checklist for each loan file to ensure completeness prior to underwriting handoff
- Manage the support inbox, respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and route requests appropriately
- Cook up with internal teams (Loan Officers, Processors, Underwriters, Closing) to keep loans progressing on schedule
- Identify and escalate missing documentation, discrepancies, or potential issues early
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready loan files at all times
- Support cross-functional projects and process improvements as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in loan processing, mortgage, banking, real estate, or administrative support (private lending or hard money experience a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with loan origination software (Monday, Mortgage Automator, Encompass, or similar) preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
