Junior Litigation Attorney
About the role
Our litigation team is seeking a highly motivated junior litigator to join our thriving practice. Candidates should be comfortable working under the guidance of our more senior lawyers to take depositions, handle discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and other pre‑trial proceedings. Members of our team are regularly involved in high‑stakes disputes in federal court, state court, and arbitral tribunals. Summit’s all‑member (equity partner) model offers attorneys the opportunity to build and control their practice while remaining part of a collaborative team. Because we operate without a traditional hierarchy, we are best suited for self‑directed attorneys seeking an ownership role and to grow their practices with us.
Our non‑traditional model was founded with the goal of revolutionizing the way legal services are provided. Without hidden charges, rigid cost structures, and leveraged hierarchy, we’ve maintained a successful track record litigating complex legal issues. Our focus is on providing the highest quality legal services, and all Summiteers share in that success. Summit is consistently recognized as a top law firm, both on the regional and national levels, and has been consistently ranked by US News & World Report - Best Lawyers and Chambers USA. Summit was also named Washington Firm of the Year at the 2021, 2022 & 2023 Benchmark Litigation US Awards and has also been recognized as one of Washington’s Best Workplaces since 2021 by the Puget Sound Business Journal. We are especially proud that, since 2022, Law360 has recognized Summit in its Diversity Snapshot as one of the leading law firms across the nation for diversity. Additionally, we received the Mansfield Rule Plus Certification for our diversity in leadership efforts, beginning during its pilot program in 2022 and continuing throughout its conclusion. Summiteers take pride in working here. You can check out more stories on Summit here: https://www.summitlaw.com/blog/news.
