Junior Litigation Associate - Plaintiffs
About the role
A leading plaintiffs-side firm is seeking a junior associate to join their Mass Tort/Class Action Litigation group. Qualified associates will be a 2024 or 2025 JD, licensed in IL, and either be coming from a clerkship or a litigation position with another firm. Candidates must have strong writing and research skills (writing sample will be asked for in the process) and be forward thinking in helping develop new class action cases and move matters forward. This role will report directly to the managing partner and work closely with the other partners and associates in this group on a wide range of matters.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage complex litigation strategies
- Contribute to the development of new class action cases
- Collaborate with partners and associates on various litigation matters
- Write and research legal documents as needed
Requirements
- Licensed attorney in Illinois
- JD degree from an accredited law school
- Experience as a clerk or in litigation at another firm
- Strong writing and research skills
Qualifications
- 2024 or 2025 graduation from law school
- Passionate about developing new class action cases
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Benefits
- Base salary of $120-130k
- Generous bonus system
