Responsibilities
- Aid Accountable Property Officers and Responsible Officers in establishing and executing inventory plans.
- Collaborate with command assigned N4 Command Property Branch to identify and document assets meeting Accountable Property criteria.
- Define and document property and commodity management processes and requirements, including audit requirements.
- Implement Force-wide property policies and recommend local procedures for compliance.
- Create SOPs to enhance compliance with NSWC policies.
- Use APSR, DPAS, and other systems to extract, manipulate, and present data in editable formats.
- Verify the accuracy of transactions in various APSR functions.
- Understand and assist with non-APSR commodity management systems like FleetFocus, COLTS, and NTCSS.
- Assist in transitioning commodities between APSR and other systems.
- Plan storage locations, inventory cataloging, and item marking for new activities.
- Establish Stock Cards, NICs, and Size Categories for NSWC forces.
- Vet and submit DPAS SAAR packages.
- Support command with historical archive research and current APSR transactional records.
- Conduct bi-annual reviews of the NSWC owned DPAS catalog for inconsistencies.
- Provide classroom and on-the-job training on APSR use.
- Train small groups on APSR operations, including transaction posting, inventory processing, report access, and database queries.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years’ experience in logistics support to major government systems or logistics operations.
- One (1) year experience with APSR peripheral equipment and training.
- One (1) year experience with WebFLIS, SOCOM Catalog Request Module, EMI, and FED LOG.
- One (1) year experience with MFP-2 and MFP-11 equipment, material, and supplies.
- One (1) year experience with OM&S and GE accountability.
- One (1) year experience with DPAS for data calls and report development.
- One (1) year experience with DPAS WM and PA functionalities.
- One (1) year experience with accountable property guidance and instructions.
