Responsibilities

  • Maintain attorneys’ calendars.
  • Scheduling hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings, and phone conferences.
  • Coinciding with judges, opposing counsel, clients, mediators, vendors, and other legal positions in case.
  • E-Filing via E-Portal, E-Courtesy, and E-Service to opposing counsel.
  • Bills clients/ ensures billing requirements are met.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Calendaring deadlines, hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Other administrative tasks as requested by the unit’s paralegals and attorneys.

Requirements

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong proofreading skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work as a team player with co-workers and clients.
  • The ability to problem solve and communicate with all levels of personnel and clients.
  • The flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years of relevant experience preferred.
