Responsibilities
- Maintain attorneys’ calendars.
- Scheduling hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings, and phone conferences.
- Coinciding with judges, opposing counsel, clients, mediators, vendors, and other legal positions in case.
- E-Filing via E-Portal, E-Courtesy, and E-Service to opposing counsel.
- Bills clients/ ensures billing requirements are met.
- Ensuring deadlines are met.
- Calendaring deadlines, hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Other administrative tasks as requested by the unit’s paralegals and attorneys.
Requirements
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
- Strong proofreading skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work as a team player with co-workers and clients.
- The ability to problem solve and communicate with all levels of personnel and clients.
- The flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of relevant experience preferred.
