Junior Java Fullstack Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Java Fullstack Developer with expertise in Python automation or scripting and UI development using React or Angular. The ideal candidate must be a local to Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, or Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java, Python, and Spring Boot-based applications
• Design and develop APIs or microservices
• Work with modern web technologies such as React and Angular
• Collaborate on Agile/Scrum development projects
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to the software development lifecycle, including testing and debugging

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
• Hands-on experience in Java, Python, and Spring Boot-based application development
• Experience with modern web technologies React and Angular
• Working knowledge of databases like MongoDB or similar technologies
• Understanding of software development lifecycle practices including testing and debugging

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud environments (Google Cloud, Azure, OpenShift, or Kubernetes-based platforms)
• Exposure to Kafka or event-driven architectures
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or API automation tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
