Junior Java Full-Stack Developer

About the role

Design, develop, and test applications that process cargo records and store data in a database. Support all aspects of the software development life cycle for model-driven, micro-service JEE architecture software applications.

Utilize modern software engineering tools including Eclipse, Git, Java, Spring Boot, Docker, and Atlassian Suites. Collaborate effectively within a large, Agile development team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field with 2+ years of relevant technical experience
• Proficiency in Java Micro Service Architecture frameworks such as Spring Boot
• At least 2 years of Java/JEE design and software development experience
• Experience with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems on AWS (or equivalent cloud providers) and Kubernetes
• Ability to obtain and hold a public trust position and favorable suitability based on a CBP Background Investigation
