Junior Information Assurance Engineer

About the role

In this role, you will provide Tier 1 help desk support to a client’s cloud domain. You will assist engineers and end users with technical and process-oriented challenges and collaborate directly with engineering teams on complex issues. The position is based in Ashburn, VA, with remote potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 operational support for tasks including:
  • Account onboarding and offboarding
  • Shared resource access control
  • Infrastructure access
  • Account management
• Respond to operational help desk tickets in a timely fashion.
• Resolve and close help desk tickets efficiently and effectively.
• Escalate and work with engineering teams on complex operational issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information assurance, or a related discipline with at least 1 year of experience in an information technology role. Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings accurately.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of contract management and legal compliance principles is a plus.
• Must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
• Must pass a drug test as Telos maintains a drug-free workplace.
• Employment is contingent upon confirmation of work authorization via the E-Verify program.

Pay

The annual salary range for this opening is $50,000 - $70,000.
