Junior Industrial Designers

About the role

A2 is a product development consultancy focusing on design strategy, market/user research, industrial design, and engineering. We are looking for Junior to Mid-Level Industrial Designers with recent grads to 3 years of experience to join us as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Translate ideas from concept sketches to detailed 3D models using SolidWorks
• Utilize Keyshot and Photoshop for rendering and post-production
• Work with 3D printers including FDM and resin technologies
• Gain proficiency with AI tools relevant to product development
• Develop strong social media and marketing skills

Requirements

• Excellent SolidWorks skills, including surfacing, lofts, sweeps, cuts, etc.
• Good hand sketching skills
• Proficient in Keyshot and Photoshop
• Experience with 3D printers and printing (FDM and Resin)
• Experience with AI as it relates to product development

Good to Have

• A knack for social media & marketing

Qualifications

Salary is commensurate with experience and skill level. We are located in the 'burbs of Westchester, near Grand Central Station and a local Metro North station. This new environment offers a relaxed, creative, and collaborative workplace.
