Responsibilities
- Prepare lessons toward mastery of the state standards
- Collaborate with other faculty
- Small group instruction
- Differentiate instruction and provide interventions
- Work with administrators and coaches to improve performance
- Monitor students
- Collaborate and communicate with parents and other stakeholders
- Develop and administer assessments
- Teach virtual students (when required)
Requirements
- An active TN teaching license is required for the applicable grade and subject level or the ability to obtain one
Qualifications
- Experience teaching grades 6-8
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction and provide interventions
- Passion for student success
Skills
- Effective lesson planning
- Collaborative teamwork
- Student assessment and evaluation
- Virtual education experience (if applicable)
