About the Role
Evening shift (1:30 PM–10:00 PM) during the school year with daytime hours in the summer. Starting rate is $17.20/hr without experience; pay may increase based on relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Promote the mission of Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools
- Keep buildings and grounds in a clean and sanitary condition, including daily pickup of trash and debris
- Daily cleaning and/or mopping of floors, disinfecting bathrooms and drinking fountains, assisting with minor repairs, cleaning windows, and vacuuming
- General maintenance of the building
- Dust tops of lockers
- Clean snow from sidewalks, driveways, and other areas on school grounds
- Set up and take down equipment, chairs, and tables for all school-related events
- When applicable, open and lock the school buildings
- Promote a positive public image to students, staff, and the community through cooperation and attitude
- Perform preventative maintenance, including waxing, sealing, patching, and painting
- Perform various duties as assigned
Qualifications

- Knowledge and skills in cleaning supplies and equipment, inventory control, and time management
- Understands how the role relates to the broader mission of Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools
- Ability to climb ladders, lift at least 50 lbs., and operate heavy machinery
Pay
$17.20/hr starting rate without experience; may increase based on relevant experience.
