Job Duties And Responsibilities
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will work under general supervision, utilizing software and hand-rendering techniques to design materials that align with the corporate identity guidelines and meet business specifications, and help design and create digital marketing materials for social media and other platforms.
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute design projects, including marketing materials, program flyers, email campaigns, digital assets, store layouts, and more
- Create visually appealing graphics and layouts for various mediums, such as print, web, and social media, while maintaining consistency with the brand's visual identity
- Aid in the development and implementation of creative concepts, ensuring they effectively communicate the desired message to the target audience
- Help manage and maintain the company's visual assets, including logos, images, and other design elements
- Manage and organize digital assets, including logos, images, and other design elements, ensuring proper labeling, filing, and storage in the company’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system
- Create and update digital catalogs, maintaining accuracy across multiple platforms
- Collaborate with the Merchandising team to ensure product images to ensure consistent and accurate product data across digital and Product Information Management (PIM) platforms
- Stay updated on industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and innovation to the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Art Direction, Videography, Product Development, Sales, and Merchandise, to support their design needs and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints
- Complete projects within deadlines and manage multiple design projects simultaneously
- Work closely with senior designers and receive feedback to refine design concepts and enhance skills
Requirements
- A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in graphic design, including layout, typography, color theory, and composition
- Proficient in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects
- To create simple motion graphics formatted and utilized for social media advertising
- Understanding of the process for print work with the ability to follow a print project from set-up and proofing to final delivery
- Knowledge of current design trends and techniques in both print and digital mediums
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in design work
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- A passion for motorcycles or knowledge of Helmet House brands is preferred but not required
Other Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience working in graphic design, marketing, or branding, including internships or entry level professional roles
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar field or experience in an internship or entry-level graphic design role
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign
- Motorcycle / motorsports / sports industry experience a plus
