Position Responsibilities (Entry/Junior)

  • Apply regulations, policies, and operating instructions applicable to financial management operations.
  • Compile data for budget estimates.
  • Utilize a variety of office automation software (i.e., word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, graphics, and databases) to support financial management initiatives.
  • Support requirements include, but are not limited to:
    • Business/financial/resource planning and funds management support to various program management offices.
    • Prepare and track outgoing funding documents (OFD) using Navy ERP.
    • Cook up and prepare Procurement Requests (PR) in Navy ERP.
    • Prepare fee for service memos.
    • Cook up and prepare Procurement Requests (PR) in Navy ERP.
    • Cook up and prepare Procurement Requests (PR) in Navy ERP.
    • Coordinate and prepare Procurement Requests (PR) in Navy ERP.
    • Prepare fee for service memos.
    • Cook up and prepare Procurement Requests (PR) in Navy ERP.
    • Coordination and administration of all business and financial formulation, submission, justification, and execution services for Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) and direct program funding to include tracking of commitments, obligations, and expenditures.
    • Provide support in building Project Structures to include Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Network and Activity elements, control accounts utilizing Navy ERP.
    • Validate chargeable objects, and input and track cost recovery charges utilizing the Cost Distribution Accounting Subsystem (CDASS).

Position Requirements

  • US Citizen.
  • Ability to pass background check and Investigation for Tier 3 Public Trust Clearance.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of Financial Management/ Customer Service Experience
  • Two (2) years of Navy ERP experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
