Junior Field Technicians - Palo Alto

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Network Engineers in the design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of outside plant fibre, inside plant racks, cabling, DWDMS, DHIP, DCNC, and critical infrastructure.
• Utilise bespoke inventory systems.
• Apply a methodical and logical approach to data analysis and manipulation.
• Gain industry experience with the potential to secure a long-term role.

Requirements

• Knowledge of telecommunication principles.
• Conversant with Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• IP principles and networks experience desirable.
• Advanced Excel or Access skills.
• AC/DC power experience desirable.
• Practical/hands-on experience with telecommunication equipment (routers, switches, etc).

Qualifications

Education: Degree or MSc qualified in an Engineering Subject.
