Junior Estimator

Summary

The Junior Estimator is responsible for preparing time, cost, and labor estimates for assigned projects, applying knowledge of specialized methodologies, techniques, principles, and/or processes. For awarded contracts, the Junior Estimator provides ongoing cost estimate support to operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Completes Quality Survey/Take-off - Contacts Vendors and Sub-contractors - Prepares Pricing, Bids and Proposals - Executes Transition - Supplies Cost Estimates on Changes During Construction - Ensures a Safe Work Environment - Participates in Training/Certifications

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Qualifications

- Experience in construction estimating preferred - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

- Proficient in specialized estimating software - Knowledge of construction industry standards and practices - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

- Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually
