About the role
Global Engineering & Technology (GET) is seeking a Technical Guidance Analyst (TGA) to join their team during Q3 2026, supporting the Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Classification in Germantown, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of classification guidance
- Assist in the preparation of classification/declassification policy documents in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, DOE orders, and procedures
- Collaborate with DOE National Laboratories and the NNSA
Requirements
- Current Top Secret or DOE Q security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in nuclear engineering, a physical science discipline, or a related engineering discipline
- At least 1 year of field experience supporting an NNSA facility
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- The ability to read and understand written English at or above academic grade 15 (Nelson Denny reading assessment)
Qualifications
- Two (2) years of recent experience performing work in one or more of the following areas: Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF), Nuclear weapon science, Nuclear weapon design, development, testing, production, and deployment
- Knowledge of DOE derivative classification

$110,000 - $135,000 Per Year (depending on qualifications)
