Junior Electrical Technician

About the role

Ashtead Technology is seeking a Junior Electrical Technician to join their growing Mechanical Solutions team based in Houma, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the workshop team in performing maintenance and repairs on various equipment.
• Diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing equipment as needed.
• Delivering and picking up products and company equipment to/from customers and vendors as required.
• Maintaining cleanliness of company vehicles in accordance with QHSE regulations and arranging servicing and maintenance as necessary.
• Aiding other members of the team, including Technicians and Logistics, with tasks such as shopping and receiving.
• Assisting with any other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Line Manager.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in a technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in fault finding and problem solving.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Willingness to be flexible with working hours to assist with operational demands.
