The role is based in Linden, Johannesburg, and the successful candidate must be a South African citizen living in the surrounding area.
About the role
We are a diverse, growing company with ten years of experience working with fantastic clients. As a Junior Designer, you will work on various projects, with a focus on DTP and publishing design, as well as digital elements.
Requirements
- Relevant Graphic Design qualification
- One to two years’ work experience in design
- Knowledge and experience in Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Proficiency in Windows for emailing, Word, and Excel
- Experience with company project tracking software
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Presentable and effective timekeeping
- Implement all required design work and collaborate closely with Senior Designers
- Adhere to briefs and liaise with clients and staff
- Ability to work independently with good reporting procedures
- Strong prioritization skills
- Attend and participate in weekly company meetings
- Minimum of two previous job references and one character reference
Pay
R15k per month

Start date: February 2019. This is an in-office position based in Linden, Gauteng.
