Junior Data Engineer (SQL & Python)

Job Summary

The Junior Data Engineer (SQL & Python) position at Rose International focuses on system analysis, programming, and collaboration with technology teams to improve business processes and applications. The role involves designing and maintaining Oracle PL/SQL queries and ETL processes, using Python scripting for data analysis, automation, and reporting, and performing deep data analysis to identify trends and insights.

Job Duties

• Design and maintain Oracle PL/SQL queries and ETL processes
• Use Python scripting for data analysis, automation, and reporting
• Perform deep data analysis to identify trends and insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Maintain data quality standards and data integrity
• Stay current on data tools, techniques, and AI/ML advancements

Qualifications

• Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Python programming skills
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in programming/debugging for business applications
  • Working knowledge of programming languages
  • Understanding of industry practices and standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of AI/ML techniques (predictive modeling, NLP, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the financial services industry (preferred)
