Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.
  • Design computer security strategy and engineer comprehensive cybersecurity architecture.
  • Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management.
  • Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
  • Install software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions.
  • Monitor systems for irregular behavior and set up preventive measures.
  • Plan, develop, implement and update company’s information security strategy.
  • Implement and design security counter-measures to respond in the event of a security breach.
  • Cookordination security rules and internal access authorization with IT Operations leadership and management.
  • Configure and maintain user access and accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures as well as industry-specific regulations.
  • Evaluate and recommend security and equipment updates as necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
  • Conduct periodic risk management audits to ensure company security is updated and as effective as possible.
  • May design, lead and conduct security policy training and education.
  • Research latest security threats and methods to counteract security risks.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
  • HS, 8-10 years of relevant experience; BS, 2-4 years; MS 0-2 years
  • One or more of the following DoD 8570/8140 certifications: ComTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, SSCP (ISC²), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)

Physical Demands

WAGE INFORMATION Target salary range: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
