About the role
The Junior Credit Administration Analyst plays a crucial role in the loan review process, maintaining the quality of our loan portfolio by assisting in the analysis of all Commercial Real Estate / Residential loans under the Credit Administration & Independent Loan Review Policy and Lending Policies. This role is responsible for analyzing and reviewing loan documentation, assessing risks, and providing insightful data and reports to make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of loan applications and reports, including assessing financial statements, cash flow, and collateral to evaluate risk and determine creditworthiness.
- Perform loan file reviews to ensure compliance with credit policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Analyze borrower financial data to identify potential risks or issues that may impact the loan portfolio.
- Prepare detailed risk assessments and recommendations for management regarding loan approvals, renewals, and modifications.
- Monitor the performance of existing loans and provide timely reports on loan status, delinquencies, and potential defaults.
- Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and legal teams to gather necessary information for loan review and ensure smooth approval processes.
- Collaborate with the Credit Administration team to resolve issues related to documentation and compliance.
- Ensure that all loan documents are complete and compliant with industry regulations.
- Assist with internal and external audits related to credit administration and loan review.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- BA or BS in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related area is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, loan review, or a related financial analysis role.
- Knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and regulations in the financial services industry.
- Certification in Credit Analysis (e.g. CFA, CRC) or other relevant credentials is a plus.
- Experience with loan management systems and financial software.

- Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to adhere to deadlines in a timely manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including experience in Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint.
