Junior Content Creator/Editor (Remote)

Location: Remote (must work Eastern time zone) Part-Time Contract (November 2026 - September 1, 2027) Schedule: 20 hours/week with flexible scheduling Compensation Range: $25 - 28 per hour Are you a creative, story-driven video editor passionate about transforming raw global assets into high-retention social content? A premier global environmental conservation initiative is seeking a Junior Content Creator to turn field-captured footage into engaging, snackable video assets across key social platforms. In this remote, high-impact role, you will partner directly with international teams to amplify critical climate resilience and ocean conservation campaigns. Responsibilities: Transform raw footage submitted by global members into fast-paced, high-retention 30-second vertical videos and clips (9:16 aspect ratio) for social channels.Co-develop compelling messaging and manage video pipelines to maintain an active editorial calendar across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.Produce educational assets, webinars, and how-to guides to empower regional chapters in capturing high-quality local video content.Repurpose long-form webinars, podcasts, and major scientific publications into dynamic short clips and visual storytelling assets. Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in video editing, short-form content production, and digital marketing (recent graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply).Demonstrated mastery of hook-driven storytelling, platform algorithms, and video editing suites (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and native social editors).Proven track record of producing high-performing short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) from raw or long-form footage.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field, combined with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
