Junior Construction Project Manager

About the role

Bradford Construction, a member of the BRAVO partnership, seeks a motivated Junior Project Manager to support construction management services in New York City. This onsite role is based in the Briarwood, Queens field office and requires the ability to start within two weeks of an offer.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring quality, performance, and compliance among consultants and vendors.
• Support coordination of schedules, phasing, and planning to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and help implement timely solutions.
• Work closely with contractors, architects, and construction managers to address design and construction challenges.
• Review and process change orders, contract documents, and shop drawing submittals to maintain compliance.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to track status and resolve field issues.
• Assist in resolving construction-related problems and provide recommendations to senior project managers.
• Ensure adherence to NYC building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain and organize project documentation, reports, and field records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction management; 3–4 years preferred.
• Experience with public agencies preferred; willingness to learn and interest in public projects required.
• Familiarity with construction project scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with project teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

$80,000 – $85,000 USD
