About the role

The National Arbitration Litigation & Employment Team at Nelson Mullins is seeking a Junior Commercial Litigation Associate to join their expanding practice covering most of the East Coast. This is not an entry-level position.

Responsibilities

• Legal research and writing
• Discovery
• Drafting and arguing motions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Experience in class action defense, financial services, and government/internal investigations

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience gained at a mid-size to large law firm setting
• Adept in case management and ready to take the lead
• Admitted to and in good standing to the Bar in MA, NC, NY, DC, and/or GA

Qualifications

• Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills
• Strong academic credentials
