Junior Cloud Integration Developer

IGS is currently recruiting a remote Junior Cloud Integration Developer to support our work with a federal customer. Assignment of Work and Travel:This is a remote access assignment. The Candidate will work remotely daily and will remotely access customer systems and therein use approved customer provided communications systems. Travel is not required; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite client meetings as requested. The Junior Cloud Integration Developer will help design, build, and support cloud-based integration solutions across enterprise platforms. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient, scalable, and secure integrations using Kubernetes, AWS integration services, HL7/FHIR standards, Argo CD, observability tooling, and service mesh technologies. Responsibilities and Duties (Included but not limited to):Design and implement cloud-based integration solutions using KubernetesDevelop integrations leveraging AWS integration services and cloud-native capabilitiesBuild and support healthcare interoperability solutions using X12, HL7 and FHIREnable continuous delivery through Argo CD and modern deployment workflowsSupport observability, monitoring, and alerting using Datadog or similar toolsImplement telemetry, logging, tracing, and performance visibility across integration servicesWork with Istio or similar service mesh technologies to improve traffic management, security, and resilienceCollaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to establish reusable integration patterns and standardsTroubleshoot integration issues, identify root causes, and support production stabilityMaintain technical documentation, deployment standards, and operational proceduresOther duties as assigned Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience in cloud-based integrations using KubernetesMinimum 2 years of experience with AWS integration servicesMinimum 2 years of experience implementing X12, HL7 and FHIR integrationsExperience with continuous delivery using Argo CD, or similarExperience with observability tools such as Datadog or similar platformsExperience with telemetry in distributed systemsExperience with service mesh technologies such as IstioStrong understanding of cloud integration patterns, APIs, and distributed systemsExperience working in healthcare or other regulated environmentsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent collaboration and communication skillsFamiliarity with container orchestration, microservices, and hybrid cloud architecturesExperience with logging, tracing, and alerting best practicesExperience supporting enterprise integration platforms at scaleAbility to obtain and maintain a Public TrustAbility to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications and Core Competencies:Prior experience supporting federal agencies, specifically health ITPrior, successful experience working in a remote environmentActive Public Trust Successful IGS employees embody the following Core Values:Integrity, Honesty, and Ethics: We conduct our business with the highest level of ethics.
