About the role
EXP is seeking a creative and dedicated Junior Business Development Coordinator to join our dynamic Transportation and Infrastructure practice in New York.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of high-quality proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with business development leaders and technical staff to prepare client-facing documents and submissions.
- Aid in writing, editing, proofreading, and formatting proposal content, project sheets, and staff resumes.
- Aid in creating and updating marketing collateral using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word, ensuring consistency with company branding standards.
- Assist with award submissions, client presentations, and meeting materials.
- Maintain organized marketing files, including proposals, presentations, resumes, and project information.
- Cook up with marketing and communications teams across offices as needed.
- Attend networking events and project site visits to learn about company services and projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, business development, communications, or proposal coordination (internships/co-op experience considered).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong document formatting skills.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe InDesign, for creating proposals, brochures, presentations, and other marketing materials.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a team environment.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn and grow professionally.

Qualifications
- The salary range for this role is $40,000 to $65,000.
- Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location.
