Junior Automotive Technician

We are seeking motivated Auto Repair Technicians to join our seasoned team, handling multiple repairs daily and ensuring high-quality maintenance and repairs within expected timeframes.

About the role

The Automotive Technician / Mechanic diagnoses and repairs customer vehicles efficiently and accurately, adhering to MAP guidelines and dealership, manufacturer, and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to certification level and experience.
• Perform work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including Store Manager, Service Consultants, and customers.
• Recommend necessary services to maintain customer vehicles; document all recommendations in customer files.
• Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintain and renew ASE certifications as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one unexpired ASE certification or equivalent experience/training (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, Monday through Friday.

Pay

$60,000 – $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
