Junior AI Engineer

About the role

This role focuses on the hands-on development of integrations, APIs, and AI-driven solutions using modern cloud technologies. The engineer will work on building and supporting AI-enabled applications, learning prompt engineering, and contributing to scalable solutions in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support AI-enabled applications, APIs, and automation solutions.
• Assist in building AI agents, workflows, and prompt patterns.
• Contribute to prototypes and reusable components.
• Support backend service and API development.
• Aid in implementing event-driven solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate with enterprise systems following secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver quality solutions and learn best practices.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience: 2–4 years of software development experience.
• Technical Skills: Basic Prompt Engineering & AI Model Integration, Understanding of AI/ML concepts and agent-based systems, API Development & Integration, Cloud fundamentals (GCP preferred – Cloud Run, basics of Azure/AWS), Event-driven architecture basics (Pub/Sub), CI/CD fundamentals, Programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Preferred Qualifications: Basic understanding of API and backend development, Exposure to AI/ML or AI-enabled applications, Experience or familiarity with GCP (Vertex AI, Cloud Run) or similar platforms, Understanding of DevOps concepts and cloud deployments, Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment, Good communication and teamwork skills.
