About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and eager-to-learn Junior Accountant / Controller to support our finance and accounting operations. This position is an ideal fit for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional looking for hands-on experience and direct mentorship. You don’t need to know everything on day one—we are fully prepared to train you on our specific systems and processes. What matters most to us is that you are dependable, smart, highly organized, and motivated to build a solid foundation in accounting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general ledger entries, routine reconciliations, and account balancing.
- Process and track vendor invoices, manage payment schedules, and keep AP records up to date (Accounts Payable).
- Maintain clean, accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
- Assist with month-end close processes and reporting.
- Help with routine bookkeeping and administrative accounting tasks as needed.
- Take on additional responsibilities and higher-level accounting tasks as you build your skill set.
Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (with relevant accounting coursework), OR 1–2 years of hands-on experience in an entry-level accounting/bookkeeping role.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a strong eye for accuracy.
- Solid business acumen, comfort with numbers, and an ability to follow structured processes.
- A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn and adapt.
- Prior experience with QuickBooks is a plus, but not required (we will train you!).
