About the role
The Corporate Facilities Management Training Program offers a 15-month rotational schedule designed for individuals aiming to become Assistant Directors or Directors of Facility Management in a hotel setting.
Responsibilities
- Repairing or replacing defective equipment or parts.
- Performing preventive measures to safeguard machinery.
- Inspecting, operating, and recording maintenance work and its costs.
- Ordering necessary materials and tools for repairs and staying within budgetary guidelines.
- Maintaining cleanliness and proper functionality of areas, tools, or machinery.
- Overseeing repair and maintenance tasks including plumbing, air conditioning, heating, ice machines, swimming pools, lighting, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, laundry, emergency generators, etc.
- Establishing and maintaining an ongoing preventative maintenance schedule.
- Ensuring safety within the department and the building.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Nine months of relevant industry work experience.
- Leadership and involvement in campus activities.
- Positive references from two previous work experiences.
- Continuous authorization to work in the U.S.
