What You’ll Do

  • Create a variety of juices, smoothies, coffees, and specialty drinks using organic, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable service, assisting customers in choosing products that suit their tastes and health goals.
  • Ensure the juice bar area is clean, organized, and meets all health and safety standards.
  • Absorb inventory needs and assist in stocking and organizing supplies.
  • Work closely with co-op staff to support overall store operations and promote a positive work environment.

Schedule & Hours

Part-time: Approximately 16–20 hours/week
Includes early am to mid afternoon and weekend shifts
Flexibility to pick up extra shifts is a plus!

Requirements

  • Mandatory Qualifications: Previous customer service and/or cash handling experience, Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment, English proficiency, Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills, Able to remain flexible to the changing needs of the business, Regular, predictable attendance
  • Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with MS Office and POS (Point of Sale) systems, Previous juice bar/coffee bar experience, Familiarity with natural foods, grocery industry or cooperatives

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 30 pounds frequently; 30-50+ pounds occasionally
  • Manual dexterity with ability to reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and fingers for extended periods of time
  • Mid-to-general range visual acuity to evaluate and interact in working environment and operate deli equipment for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Regular exposure to refrigerated/frozen and hot/humid environments
  • Ability to climb ladders, kneel, crouch, and bend occasionally required
  • Ability to be exposed to, work with, and directly handle dietary allergies including, but not limited to: gluten, wheat and flours; dairy and soy; meats and shellfish; peanuts and tree nuts
  • Ability to work safely with sanitation supplies
