About the role

The Fourth Judicial District Court is recruiting for a full-time, permanent position as a Judicial Specialist 2 for the Magistrate Court in Las Vegas, NM.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process court documents, perform judicial procedures, and work with the court case management system.
• Provide customer service information to pro se litigants, including general procedural information.
• Open, docket, and close cases based on judgment details using the case management system.
• Assess, receipt, record, and reconcile monies, and prepare bank deposits.
• Maintain and distribute documents, files, and case materials.
• Review and process incoming filings for format, signatures, event codes, and filing fees.
• Process and expedites orders of protection, disburses bond payments, and prepares bond reports.
• Research automated, hard copy, and microfiche files for case status data.
• Execute on case hearings, including orders to show cause, bench warrants, recusals, excusals, pleadings, and rule extensions.
