Judicial Attorney/Law Clerk to Justice Daniel R. Hawkins

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze arguments presented in a variety of motions and memoranda involving all areas of the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction under Article IV, Section 2(B) of the Ohio Constitution.
• Research and prepare initial drafts of merit opinions at the direction of the Justice.

What We’re Looking For

• Law school graduates, licensed to practice and in good standing with excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Prior clerkship experience with an Appellate Court Judge or a Supreme Court Justice is preferred.
• The ability to work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently is required.
